CTO / Technical co-founder
Architect the substrate. Distributed systems at scale, multi-tenant graphs, retrieval, MCP from day one.
The role
You'll co-design and ship the core context substrate — atoms, graph, retrieval, audit chain, MCP surface — and own the engineering trajectory from V1 through Series A.
We have a verrouillée stack (Aiven Postgres + Neo4j Community + Graphiti + Mistral API + Temporal + Zitadel, 100% Infomaniak CH), an open-core Apache 2.0 plan, and a 14–16 month build roadmap with kill-criteria. We need someone who can both pressure-test those choices and execute them.
Who we're looking for
- 10+ years building distributed backends at scale
- Strong opinions on graph databases, retrieval, and multi-tenant isolation
- Comfort with EU sovereign infra constraints (no US critical path in V1)
- Wants to be a founder, not a senior IC — equity-heavy, salary-light early on
